Stateside BPO Marketing/PR Internship

StatesideBPO was founded on the idea that a better designed contact center will create a better customer experience. So many of the largest companies within the Business Process Outsourcing industry are valued for their size, but lack the innovation required to provide a positive customer experience.

Your customers live in a connected world, with instant access to information, smartphone applications that help them manage their day-to-day lives on the go, and endless ways to communicate with others. Those same customers should not have to lower the bar when calling in for support.

StatesideBPO is able to fulfill these needs by building teams of engaged individuals, technology designed for seamless interactions, and a flexible infrastructure to meet changing needs. We have a mission to provide career opportunities to Americans with Disabilities and United States Veterans. This is such an important part of who we are because the positions mean more to our team members. Without this innovative approach to staffing our contact centers, we would not be able to create passion and engagement on the other end of the phone.

What should a student do to get an interview?
§  Fine-tune your resume for the position you want. Review your experience and craft it in a way that indicates what will make you successful at your job.
§  Find someone who works at Gartner and have them refer you. Everyone’s looking to refer great talent!
§  Another option is to submit online.
§  It’s all about how you position yourself. Be curious, but also show you have done your homework on Gartner and what we do. Show you are passionate and detail what drives you to work harder than your peers.
What can a candidate do to impress you during the interview?
§  Ask intelligent questions about the business —how is Gartner positioned in the marketplace, what are the business goals, what are the CEO’s top priorities and how does the role you are applying for relate to these questions.
§  Research, research, research!
§  Talk to Gartner clients (people you know at tech companies will know who we are). Find out where they use Gartner and the value they get.
§  Ask what success looks like, and what makes someone successful in the role. Then demonstrate your experience and how it is similar.
Any unique tips or words of wisdom?
§  Be yourself. It’s all about showing how you will utilize what drives you and your own personal style to be able to work with your client base. Everyone has their own style, so be comfortable and master it for your success.
§  You can relate your accomplishments to any role as long as you understand the responsibilities of the role, i.e., being a recruitment chair for a campus club/organization you managed a budget and were actively selling your organization. For example, “I was able to grow our recruitment class by 25%, or budget increase by $2,000 due to the number of new active members we recruited.”

Naples Meridian PR/Real Estate Internship

Internship Opportunity:  To join a growing  property consultancy business in Naples where we assist buyers and sellers purchase properties and also offer design services. We are an extremely client driven enterprise where what we produce and send is driven by answering the question: "Why is this important for me to know".

Student Can Expect to Do &  Learn

Utilize their marketing and communication skills to directly impact messaging that is distributed to our clients and the real estate community at large.

Crafting messaging and sending them out via social media platforms, newsletter content, and any other creative method is our goal!

Student will join me on a weekly basis as I meet with real estate and design clients with a goal of capturing interesting tidbits of information that we then re purpose and send out to various media platforms as content and video ( facebook, instagram, you tube).  In addition the the student will re-tool our property website and help us to create an overall brand concept. The intern role is crucial in creating a " voice" for our group that speaks to our target market yet is fun and informative.

What Can a Student Expect to Learn:

How to adapt to an ever changing work environment, .  Produce content based on what matters to a target audience and use their creativity to stretch the perception of how things " should be done" My work philosophy has always been to be well prepared to do things a little differently, to stand out from the crowd in a way that peeks people's curiosity yet produces results steeped with solid data.  This way of doing business is an asset that a student will not find in a textbook yet is something that feel very passionate about teaching.

Student Skills:

I would really benefit from a sharp, outgoing individual who is creative, enjoys writing content but also has a way with words.  The new member of our team is eager to create short videos and has strong  messaging skills  that translates into all types of social media and websites. Someone who is comfortable with an " every day is different" kind of environment will thrive!

Ways to apply

Students can apply by first sending me an email or you tube clip of how this job posting speaks to them.

Besides their qualifications I would like for them to know what in this great world of ours inspires them, where do they feel that they are in their "happy place"   Is it a place they have visited, a piece of art, maybe their favorite food?

I believe in harnessing a fun and positive environment where coming to work is a joy everyday and hearing their perspective is a great launching point.

Thank you so much!

Best regards,

Fátima
