Academic Internship at 3D Architectural Solutions (3DAS)
Marketing Intern-Community Relations Department

Opportunity to develop your marketing portfolio by marketing for a unique visualization company for the real estate industry. Your focus of market research will be centered around the user experience (UX) for clients needing 3D architectural renderings, animations, and virtual reality (VR / AR / MR) services. From your research you will help create branding, content, social media awareness, and assist in client presentations. Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes

  • Learn user experience (UX) design and implement marketing strategies around that research.
  • Create and implement internet marketing content from UX research into blogs, social media, and other multi-channel marketing systems.
  • Assist with branding 3DAS, LLC into distributable formats beyond the standard business card and brochure.
  • User Testing: Develop and analyze customer satisfaction and related research to benchmark and assess the effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Willingness to learn new skills, deeply understand client’s needs and adapt to changes in technology.
  • Create and edit existing copy that fully engages potential clients.
  • Implement UX research and copy into web sites, blogs, and social media (Instagram, Pinterest and others focused more on imagery).
  • Willingness to operate independently, take initiative and follow through with assignments.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and Ppt.)
  • Copywriting skills, WordPress / web site management, and general understanding of the real estate industry.


Working Hours

  • 150 hours within the academic semester required for students seeking 3 academic credit hours. This will vary dependent upon student availability and program requirements.

Internship Description

Purpose: Provide an experiential learning opportunity for students interested in corporate and nonprofit Communications.

Job Tasks:

General
  • Meet with supervisor
  • Communicate with clients, vendors and Company employees by phone, email and in person
  • Research information for use in communications
  • Prepare reports on work activities and progress toward learning objectives
  • Keep track of and report time on Company timesheet
  • Collaborate with other interns, volunteers and Company employees

Newsletters
  • Assist in establishing e-marketing templates for Company and clients
  • Enter contacts into e-marketing lists for Company and clients

  • Design e-newsletters for Company and clients, prepare them for distribution and
  • submit to supervisor for approval
  • Distribute approved e-newsletters

  • Set goals for increasing social media presence for Company and clients
  • Track and report progress using analytics

Press Releases
  • Prepare press releases for Company and clients and submit to supervisor for approval
  • Distribute approved press releases to media contacts
  • Update media contact lists for Company and clients
  • Follow up with media contacts by phone and email
  • Coordinate with public relations professionals on behalf of Company and clients
  • Other duties in support of media relations

Responsible for coordinating all employee information and incorporating the information into Human Resource System.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prompt data entry for all employee information into system and set up of employees in systems.
  • Maintains personnel files according to policy.
  • Assists with orientation of new employees and distributes Employee Manual.
  • Makes adjustments on personnel status as indicated.
