Nine Resale Boutique PR/Communication Internship


Hi my name is Miranda Hartlieb! I am a graduate of FGCU (Communication Major) We are a "Pay It Forward" Resale Boutique (Nine Resale Boutique) in Bonita Springs who sell brand name clothing, shoes, accessories, home decor and furniture that benefit local families affected by childhood chronic and terminal illness! We also work with Non Profits in the area like Eva's Closet! We are looking for a creative intern to work along side our mother/ daughter team to assist with online sales, merchandising, styling, purchasing, community events and marketing!! We have a 650 square foot boutique off of Bonita Beach Road and are very close to I-75!! We are focused on advancing our local marketing and online sales and will offer monetary benefits based on an increase in sales :) 

 

We would love someone who is personable, creative, interested in fashion and someone who is passionate about giving back to the community and helping others!!! 

 

We would love to have two interns if possible!! Male or female are fine as long as they are passionate about fashion, furniture refurb and design!!

Southwest Florida Reading Festival Coordinator Intern

Summary


Provide support for Library Reading Festival and related events

Responsibilities and duties: 


Work with Library Development Coordinator to coordinate event logistics including planning, promotion and on-site execution 


Assist with creating and distributing marketing materials 


Maintain existing marketing


Access database, which includes donor and prospect information, event attendee and mailing lists 


Maintain event documents 


Participate in event related activities and meetings 


Assist with developing and distributing approved press releases 


Maintain press coverage files 


Update media press kit materials 


Assist with posting event information to industry and calendar websites and publications 


Develop and post social media marketing for events

Qualifications and skills: 


Completed a minimum of four semesters of college with focus on public relations, special-events planning and marketing 


Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously 


Proficient in use of MS Office 


Ability to present ideas and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing 


Social media savvy. 


Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 


Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications

Terms: 


$10 per hour 
20 hours per week 
October – April
