Digital Marketing Intern with IRONMAN in Tampa, FL

IRONMAN is looking for a driven and ambitious Digital Marketing intern who wants to create a career in marketing - specifically email, database, and data-driven. We provide training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience. The person(s) in this role will assist in areas such as designing communication materials, testing email marketing platform features and contributing to the overall improvement of the email marketing. This is a non-paid position and is based at the IRONMAN Global Headquarters in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Support with day-to-day campaign tasks including, but not limited to write, design, and send emails
• Quality Assurance - review of HTML proofs to ensure that content is rendering correctly on desktop and mobile

• Analysis and reporting on e-mail campaign performance on a weekly and monthly basis to internal stakeholders.

• Daily monitoring of trigger/transactional campaign volumes. 

• Assist with documentation of processes and recommendations for improvements/optimizations.

• Assist with promoting e-mail success stories across internal communication channels, including development of PowerPoint and other documents. 

Desired Qualifications:

• A natural numbers person. Do you like telling stories with data? Then we want to talk! 

• Must have excellent attention to detail

• Must be eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks

• Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Must be creative and have excellent communication skills 

• Must be solution and team oriented while demonstrating the ability to work independently and adapt to changes in a rapid development environment 

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop  

• Understanding of HTML and/or experience with website analytics such as Adobe, Google, and/or Facebook a plus

• Available to work on a part time basis, between 15-20 hours per week
