RELATIONS/ SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN 2018-19
The Florida
Everblades of the ECHL are in search of Community/ Social Media interns for the
2018-19 Season. This position provides an opportunity to create professional
relationships and gain experience in professional sports. High standards
of courtesy, performance, agreeableness, and integrity are necessary. High
levels of professionalism are required as the position involves interaction
with athletes, coaching staff and team management.
Interns are expected
to:
- Attend all home games
- Assist Game Night Interns with set up of promotional items for the game
- Work post-game events such as jersey auctions, season ticket holder skates, and special fan events
- Listen to away game broadcasts and update all platforms
- Work with the PR staff to manage all Everblades social media platforms
- Attend all community events as a representation of the Everblades and assist promotional teams and mascot
- Create engaging content for fans via social mediaSkills needed:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop. Knowledge in Premier is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram as well as managing tools and associated apps necessary to execute content smartly and creatively.
- Experience in data driven strategic thinking and tracking tools such as Facebook Insights and Twitter analytics.Note: When you apply for this job, you will be required to answer the following questions:

- Are you available to work nights/ weekends and holidays as needed?
